Poppy Signed

Meet Poppy! Or as I’ve been affectionately calling her, Raisin. She was painted with many translucent layers of Genesis and Gemini heat set paints to achieve a mottled newborn appearance with blushing and creasing. Her little fingers and toes have half moons and tips achieved with E-born’s nail powder. They were then varnished with a satin varnish for a natural look. She is varnished with matte and satin varnishes and I applied extra texture to her forehead and eyebrows. Poppy has milia (milk bumps) across her nose and cheeks. She was created from the Poppy sculpt by Bonnie Brown and was signed by Bonnie at DOTWE 2026! In addition to Bonnie’s signature on this doll, all my dolls are signed by me, the artist. I apply this signature on their cloth body bum. This is done for identification purposes in case the doll gets sold down the line and any artist paperwork gets lost. I feel as though people like to know who made their sweet babies, and this is my way of supplying that information. She is directionally microrooted with a combination of medium brown and auburn mohairs. Her hair is rooted to her side parted with a beautiful little swirl in the back. She has rooted lashes and painted eyebrows that extend into a little bit of a newborn unibrow for that ultra preemie look. Poppy has a magnet in her mouth to be able to accept a magnetic pacifier so be sure to take precautions around pacemakers. Her little feet are so teeny and precious that I wasn’t able to find her any socks so she’ll be going home with her little crocheted booties from the photos. I crocheted them myself to fit her and they are truly just darling. She is weighted in her head, limbs, and body. She’s a tiny little thing though weighing in at 2lbs and 7oz. Her head needs to be supported when held just like a real baby. Poppy will come to you as a girl with a nice box opening that includes: - 2 outfits + an extra onesie - 1 hat + her hand crocheted booties - 1 toothbrush for baby’s hair - 1 regular magnetic pacifier + 1 modified preemie pacifier - 2 diapers - 2 beaded bracelets (one for you and one for baby) Baby will be packed wearing a diaper and a sleeper and will be wrapped in a blanket Please be sure to check all photos and ask all questions you have before purchasing.
