MUST BE 18 OR OLDER TO PURCHASE This doll is not silicone. For your consideration is this unique and precious kit sculpted by Denise Pratt of Bountiful Baby. I have been reborning since 2007 and this sold-out kit has been in my nursery since approximate 2016. I recently decided it was time to bring this precious baby doll to lifelike appearance. This baby doll reminds me of the Gerber's baby add. It is number 212/640. It was a wonderful kit to work with, and the resulting baby doll is so adorable to hold and rock in your arms. Genesis heat set paint was used to give amazing realism. Many translucent coats were added to the doll. I gave the doll a decent amount of mottling. Delicate veins and capillaries on cheeks and eyelids were added. The limbs and face were sealed with a varnish that gives a dewy look to the skin. Delicate undertones and a baby manicure look was added for additional realism. Her face is very fair toned with a velvety look. For this sweet little angel, I decided to give her an amazing head of painted hair. It takes me many, many hours to paint a head. I use brushes with the fewest bristles. I love the sparse look of painted hair on a newborn. The precious scalp can be seen. Also, I painted baby hairs in the temple areas. I finished off the painted hair with texture medium to add additional realism. The eyebrows are painted and the lashes are rooted with premium mohair. Lashes are securely glued but always use care when dressing the baby doll. The head really needs to be supported just as a real newborn would need. I did include a photo of the doll with the cloth body showing. This particular kit has front loading legs. Different than side load legs. It did give her a bigger and fatter little bum. The doll is very easy to dress and undress. Baby has full limbs. I feel that it is an integral part of what you are getting. Length and weight close approximates. The doll is NOT meant to be a play toy for a small child. It should be cared for as though it is a collectible item. With care my dolls can last for many years. I opted to NOT give Naomi a magnet and she will be sold (adopted) without one. Also, the doll is weighted with very fine glass beads. Always keep away from any chewing pets. Purchase only if this is the doll for you. Naomi's layette will include the clothing she is wearing. All of the clothing is new with the exception of the kitten bunting. It is a very clean and gently used item. I will include the COA, extra diaper. Baby will be wrapped in a receiving blanker. I box my items very carefully and safely. I will include some suggestions for keeping the doll in pristine condition. No other items will be included but I do select one extra of my own choosing. I do strive to present a lovely box opening for my buyers. I hope you enjoyed seeing this little charmer's pictures. It was sheer joy bringing Naomi to such a lifelike appearance. I love creating my babies and have passed them on to many pleased buyers. I put all of my love and attention into reborning.
